I have worked as Professor and Head of Department of Pharmacology since 1999, teaching both graduates and postgraduates during my tenure at MLN Medical College, Allahabad and thereafter at Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly. With over forty years of teaching experience, I have been Guide and co-guide to numerous postgraduates in Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Biochemistry and Microbiology. I also acted as Examiner for postgraduates and undergraduates. Illustrated Medical Pharmacology is the text book of Pharmacology that I have published for graduate students. I also have to my credit Pharmacy, Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology manual for undergraduate students. With more than 65 research papers published in Indian and International Indexed journals, I retired from active teaching to a more research oriented life in 2016. I was Editor-in-Chief of Indian Journal of Hypertension. I have been part of the Selection Board as Expert in Pharmacology for selection of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various Universities viz Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University , Medical Board Madhya Pradesh and RIMS Ranchi. The American Biographical Institute conferred on me honorary appointment to the Research Board of Advisors in 2004.
